Gracetown Astronomy Night

With minimal light pollution, Gracetown provides excellent conditions for an evening of astronomy beneath the stars.

Using premium telescopes and a guided tour of the night sky, guests observe planets, stars and distant deep space objects while discovering ancient stories alongside modern astronomy.

Set at Gracetown Beach on the Margaret River coast, the astronomy site brings the night sky and coastal landscape together in a beautiful setting for stargazing.

What to expect

• Guided astronomy session and laser-guided sky tour
• Telescope viewing of planets, stars and deep space objects
• Ancient storytelling alongside modern astronomy
• Limited numbers per telescope
• Chairs and blankets provided for your comfort

Location

• Gracetown Beach Car Park, Gracetown WA 6284. This is a self-drive experience.
• Please read the PDF attached to your booking confirmation email, as it contains important information about directions, arrival and your astronomy session.

Before you arrive

• Enclosed shoes are recommended.
• Fresh, filtered drinking water is provided.
• Where possible, we encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle.
